]]> Swearing in I believe there are a number of issues that need to be focused on in order to continue to provide the citizens of Bedford with a first class and growing city in the heart of the Metroplex. Economic Development is of vital importance. The ideal situation is to attract desirable businesses that contribute to Bedford’s sales tax base thereby keeping property taxes as low as possible. Code enforcement is another area of primary concern in order to maintain neighborhoods and property values as well as the aesthetics of the city. Maintaining and upgrading the infrastructure of Bedford is critical to assure the safety and well-being of all citizens. As a former council person I have made contributions in all of these areas and will continue to do so if elected to Place 3 on the Bedford Council. We are half-way through the highway expansion and managing this through completion so that Bedford emerges as an attractive city with dynamic new development along the highway corridor will be a top priority.

My strong desire is to see Bedford moving in a direction that will ensure its future as a vibrant city.
